Sora video generator online: check access before you create
An online page can be public while generation still requires an account, an enabled model, and credits. This checklist separates historical OpenAI Sora access from the independent TrySora browser workspace.

Free, trial, and no-login are different promises
TrySora does not promise anonymous generation, a permanent free plan, or a fixed free-trial allowance. You can read public guides without signing in, but the creation workspace can require authentication, an available model, and enough account credits before a task is accepted.
A search result that once described an OpenAI subscription allowance is not current evidence. The 2024 OpenAI Sora article still contains historical plan details below a newer discontinuation notice, so those old figures should not be treated as a current offer.

Use the TrySora workspace boundary
TrySora is an independent third-party product. It may expose different providers and models as its configuration changes. Never assume a task uses an OpenAI Sora model because the site name includes Sora; the exact provider and model shown in the workspace are the relevant evidence.
If a model is missing, a generation action is disabled, or checkout is unavailable, do not infer an entitlement from marketing copy. Recheck the live selector, current pricing page, signed-in credit balance, and task estimate.
